The labor in agriculture, construction and health sector will be sent to Canada for employment in the province of Alberta.


Islamabad: The demand for talented and skilled Pakistanis is high in Canada these days.
According to the details, a large number of skilled people from Punjab will be sent to Canada. The Pakistan Western Canada Trade Association approached the Punjab government in view of the shortage of skilled personnel.
The labor in agriculture, construction and health sector will be sent to Canada for employment in the province of Alberta. A Memrandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Pakistan Western Canada Trade Association and Punjab Government.
According to the documents, the future trade, investment and tourism promotion between the Punjab government and Canada will also be worked on. The relevant persons will be sent to British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Yukon and Nunavut.
It is pertinent to note that earlier on January 19, an informal agreement was reached in the meeting held between Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi and Canadian High Commissioner Leslie Scanlon. There will be an opportunity to find employment opportunities in Canada.
