Shehbaz Sharif casts vote in Lahore NA-127
It should be noted that the polling time for the general elections has started the polling will continue till 5 pm without any break.
Lahore: Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz’s (PML-N) President, Shehbaz Sharif has casted his vote at the polling station number 82 of NA-127 constituency in Lahore.
Shehbaz Sharif stated that if you vote for the development of Pakistan, the destiny of the country will change. If people give Nawaz Sharif a chance, they will change the destiny of Pakistan together by removing the hatred. The Transparency International has appreciated our tenure’s performance then it has also increased the prestige of Pakistan.
It should be noted that the polling time for the general elections has started the polling will continue till 5 pm without any break. Today more than 120 million voters will choose candidates in 855 constituencies of national and provincial assemblies.
However, this time the highest number of 17,816 candidates in the history of the country, 882 female candidates and 4 transgenders are also contesting elections on general seats. 5121 candidates have entered the field for the National Assembly.
There are 6710 candidates for Punjab Assembly, 1834 for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, 1237 for Balochistan Assembly and 2878 for Sindh Assembly.
Moreover, 90,675 polling stations have been set up across the country for the general elections out of which 27,628 are sensitive and 18,437 have been declared as highly sensitive.
