Washington: The United States (US) State Department has expressed its acknowledgment of the Pakistani electorate's active participation in the country's elections held on February 8.

In a recent tweet, the State Department emphasized its commitment to bolstering the partnership between the two nations.

Key areas of focus include enhancing Pakistan's democratic processes, fostering the #USPAK Green Alliance framework, strengthening people-to-people ties, upholding human rights standards, promoting security cooperation, and advancing trade and investment opportunities.

Earlier, Matthew Miller took to  X and wrote, “Millions of Pakistanis made their voices heard at the polls on February 8. We will work with the Pakistani government, regardless of political party, to advance our shared interests and strive to bolster democratic institutions and broaden political participation,”.
