Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has ruled out the possibility of Governor Rule in Sindh and said that Prime Minister Imran Khan does not want to interfere in the affairs of Sindh.

Addressing a presser in Karachi, he said that the rule of dacoits in Kacha areas would be ended in collaboration with the Sindh government adding that Rangers were ready to work for the backup of the police if the Sindh government wanted.
The home minister clarified that: “It is at the discretion of the Sindh government to use the Rangers wherever they want.”
He further said that Sindh is ready for full cooperation with the government, adding that the law and order situation is a common issue of the province and the federation.
Sheikh Rashid said that Sindh police would provide whatever kind of weapons they needed and would report to the Prime Minister on the said issue.
Talking about the National Database and Registration Center (NADRA), the Home Minister said that NADRA would sweep away corrupt officials in Karachi.
He further said that action would be taken against the makers of bogus and counterfeit identity cards and in this respect, some corrupt officials of NADRA Karachi have also been arrested.
Sheikh Rashid clarified that the federation does not want to interfere in Sindh, whereas the words of Governor Rule are immoral.
Earlier, Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid called on Sindh Governor Imran Ismail at Governor House and discussed issues of mutual interest including political and law and order situation in the province.

Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid said that strict action would be taken against those who disrupted law and order in Sindh and all measures would be taken to maintain the law and order situation in the region.
The interior minister's arrival in Sindh to review the province's law and order situation has become the talk of the town.
A day earlier, PM Imran Khan had directed Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed to head to Sindh and focus on the province’s law and order situation.
“PM has ordered me to go to Sindh and hold meeting with the Rangers,” said Ahmed.
He added that the PM issued the directives to him as lawlessness is on the rise in Sindh, and the police are unable to 'deliver'."
The interior minister said that the PM directed him to compile a report and send it to him as soon as possible.
