Islamabad administration disallows PTI’s protest call
PTI’s core committee asked for permission to protest in front of national press club in Islamabad.
Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) core committee has called a peaceful protest today (Saturday) against rigging in elections results but the administration disallowed the PTI’s protest call in Islamabad.
According to the details, PTI’s core committee asked for permission to protest in front of national press club in Islamabad.
The administration stated that the section-144 has been implement in Islamabad that is why it is prohibited to hold a rally or protest in there.
Spokesperson of Islamabad police said that the police have not received any request from PTI to protest in Islamabad yet holding rally is not allowed.
He directed that in case of blocking the roads and illegal gatherings the law will be in action against these things. The security is already on a high alert to deal with any situation.
