However, Iran is also offering its advanced technology to Pakistan so that it will complete the gas plan in 180 days.


Islamabad: The officials has decided to complete the Pak-Iran gas line plan in two stages. At first the 80km part of the pipe line from Gwadar has been prepared to lay down.
According to the details, on first stage Pakistan will be laying down the pipe line from Gwadar to Iranian border by 81km to avoid the fine.
Special Investment of Facilitation Council (SIFC) has approved the plan to lay down the 81km of gas pipe line firstly after that this gas pipe line will be connected to Nawab Shah.
Iran has already extended the dead line to lay down the gas pipe line till September 2024. In this regard the petroleum division has asked for approval from federal cabinet to lay down the pipe line.
The finance ministry will be managing the required funding from the concerned board.
Officials told that according to this plan 81km long gas pipe line will be connected to Iran-Pakistan gas line.
On initial level the gas will be used in Gwadar. If Pakistan postponed this project then he will have to pay $18 million fine to Iran.
However, Iran is also offering its advanced technology to Pakistan so that it will complete the gas plan in 180 days.
