The court sent the case back to the trial court and adjourned the further hearing till March 14.


Islamabad: The District and Sessions Court of Islamabad annulled the court order declaring Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur as a proclaimed offender.
District and Sessions Judge Shahrukh Arjamand heard the appeal of Ali Amin Gandapur, after hearing the arguments of the lawyers, the court declared the order of declaration null and void.
The court also approved the request for exemption from the attendance of Ali Amin Gandapur. It stated that the relevant staff did not comply with the court notices that were not received by the accused, the proceedings of section 87 and 88 against the accused are terminated.
The court ordered that the petitioner should submit a bond of Rs50,000 and a local surety. The court sent the case back to the trial court and adjourned the further hearing till March 14.
It is pertinent to note that a case of arms and liquor recovery has been registered against Ali Amin Gandapur in Bahara Kahu Police Station, the Judicial Magistrate had declared him a proclaimed offender for his continuous non-appearance.
