The PTI leader who was recently elected as KPK chief minister was booked in a case registered with City Police Station.

Rawalpindi: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Tuesday issued arrest warrants for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur over his alleged involvement in May 9 riots.
ATC Judge Malik Ejaz Asif issued the non-bailable arrest warrants for the newly-elected chief minister. The court directed the police produce him before it on April 2.
Gandapur was booked in the case registered at City Police Station.
Earlier in the day, the Peshawar High Court ordered the federal government to provide details of cases against Ali Amin Gandapur.
A PHC division bench comprising Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim and Justice Shakeel Ahmed heard the petition of KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur seeking details of cases against him.
The counsel representing Gandapur said that this issue remains unresolved as they were still facing the problems. He said they were unaware of the cases registered in Punjab.
The bench asked the counsel to secure bail in any case in Punjab.
The counsel submitted that they needed details so they could proceed to the court as no written information about the cases was provided to them.
An official representing the FIA told the court that there were two inquiries against Gandapur in D.I.Khan.
Justice Ibrahim remarked, “He is the chief minister of the province, and the people have placed their trust in him,”.
He also remarked that the people voted for him, and now he governed the province.
The bench observed that it is unacceptable that details cannot be provided to him.
“Furnish details of the cases registered against him to the petitioner,” the court passed the order.
