Paris: Pakistan’s tennis star Aisam-ul-Haq along with his Austrian partner Oliver Marach has qualified for the second round of French Open.

According to details, after winning the opening-round of men’s doubles match at the Grand Slam on Wednesday despite dropping the first set against Santiago Gonzalez and Marcelo Demoliner, the duo has reached the second round at Ronald Garros.
After Gonzalez and Demoliner clinched the first set, Aisam and Oliver bounced back by winning the next two sets by 6-3 and 7-5.

The duo will face Great Britain’s Jamie Murray — older brother of former world No.1 and three-time Grand Slam singles champion Andy Murray — and Bruno Soares of Brazil on Thursday.
In 2010, Aisam became the only Pakistani tennis player to reach the final of a Grand Slam competing in both mixed doubles (partnering with Květa Peschke) and men's doubles (partnering with Rohan Bopanna) at the US Open.
