The Meteorological Department stated during the last 24 hours, 33 mm of rain was recorded in Quetta, Sibbi 28, Dalbandin and Zhob 19, Kallat 16, Samingli 11, Barkhan 07, Lasbela 05 and Nokundi 2mm.
On Monday, strong winds and gusty winds prevailed in Gwadar, Kech, Panjgur and Turbat, there was rain with thunder and lightning, while many houses got waterlogged due to heavy rain in Pasni Tehsil of Gwadar.
According to the Department of Meteorology, the weather will remain dry and partly cloudy in most of the districts of the province on Tuesday, besides there is a possibility of rain in Chagai, Washak, Kech, Panjgur and Gwadar during the night.
The met department has predicted that from the morning of April 16 to 19, Gwadar, Kech, Awaran, Chagai, Kharan, Awaran, Lasbela, Khuzdar, Kalat, Nushki, Mastung, Jhal Magsi, Nasirabad, Sibbi, Kohlu, Dera Bugti, Barkhan, Loralai, Harnai, Qila Saifullah, Mastung, Ziarat, Shirani, Zhob, Musa Khel and Barkhan, there is a possibility of gusty winds, thundershowers and heavy downpours at some places, while the temperature will significantly drop due to the rains.
The Meteorological Department has directed that tourists should avoid unnecessary travel during heavy rains, while the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has directed the Deputy Commissioners of all districts to remain alert.
