Lahore: Former governor Punjab Omar Sarfraz Cheema has challenged jail trial of arsons case outside the Jinnah house in Lahore high court (LHC).
According to the details, Omar was giving his point of view in LHC regarding the jail trial of arsons case outside the Jinnah house.
He stated that the jail trial’s notification was not issued in the light of rules and laws. The applicant should give a right of fair trial in this case.
Former governor Punjab pleaded in his petition that the court should give an order to do a trial in an open court.
It should be noted that Omar Sarfraz is accused of attacking Jinnah house and arsons case.
