Saudi immigration facilities for Hajj pilgrims at Karachi Airport will be finalized in a few days.


Islamabad: Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman ordered to immediately start the Road to Makkah project at the Jinnah International Airport in Karachi after Islamabad.
In this regard, a two-member Saudi delegation made a detailed inspection of Jinnah International Airport on Sunday. According to Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), the Saudi Consulate General accompanied the visiting Saudi delegation.
According to the relevant officials of the federal government, under the Road to Makkah project, the immigration and all other necessary requirements of the Hajj pilgrims from all over Sindh including Karachi will be fulfilled at the Jinnah International Airport and the cleared pilgrims from here will be directly transferred to their residences by their own transport, without going through the lengthy immigration process at Jeddah Airport and Madinah Airport.
Road to Makkah project has already started successfully at Islamabad Airport.
The acting airport manager gave a briefing to the Saudi delegation and invited the delegation to inspect the airport lounges for the launch of the Road to Makkah project at Karachi's Jinnah International Airport.
The Saudi delegation held meetings with Airport Security Force (ASF), Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and Customs officials, including CAA officials.
A meeting was also held with the technical team to determine the processing requirements and procedures of the Saudi delegation.
