The court postponed the hearing till May 7.

Karachi: The Sindh high court (SHC) has not allowed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to hold a rally in Karachi on April 28.
According to the details, chief justice SHC heard the case. The official lawyer, PTI’s lawyer Barrister Ali Tahir and deputy commissioner east appeared before the court.
During the hearing, justice questioned that how much time will it take to get these matters improved and PTI will be allowed to hold a rally in Karachi.
On this the official lawyer replied that it is being told about one month.
The court asked that was there any rally in Karachi in recent days. On this PTI’s lawyer Barrister Ali responded that two days ago Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) held a rally on high way.
Deputy commissioner east stated that the officials did not allow any party to hold a rally in Karachi.
Justice said that then you should allow PTI to hold a rally without permission. You should be sitting in your office and tell the court that what action have you taken on holding rally without permission. Did you beat or used rangers against that party?
SCH chief justice also said that you should not have done such kind of oppression. The court cannot be a part of all this and tell the court about an appropriate reason for not holding a rally in Karachi.
However, chief justice said to PTI’s lawyer that you need to be careful. It might be possible that if an incident would have happened in this regard then PTI will be the one to blame for. If the court will give an order in your favor then it will be a problem for you.
The court postponed the hearing till May 7.
