Lahore: The new formula of the Punjab government has come out to provide relief to the people and to control inflation.
A grand operation has been launched against those who are stockpiling and smuggling essential commodities across Punjab. A letter has been issued to 36 Deputy Commissioners (DCs) of Punjab by the Directorate of Industries.
The list of people doing sugar, rice, pulses, fertilizer, and other businesses was also provided to the Deputy Commissioners, while orders were also issued to seal the stores of 40 people involved in hoarding.
On the other hand, it has also been reported that the government agencies have given a list of people who do not have big business, the big hoarders escaped once again and the names of the big hoarders are not included in the list.
While the businessmen complained that the government should arrest the big hoarders and smugglers.
