Chicken nugget sold for nearly $100,000 on eBay

A Chicken McNugget went for a mind-boggling $100,000 on eBay on Friday due to its resemblance to a character from the mystery video game "Among Us."

The video game has followed the nugget bidding saga closely and at one point asked McDonald’s to send one over.

On official twitter handle, it tweeted, "There’s a $34,443.43 among us chicken nugget on sale and i don’t know how to feel about it??? but also?? i want it."

The snack was originally listed for $0.99 before blowing up due to its correlation with one of the spacemen from the game.

Moreover, the tender’s video game-evoking visage wasn’t eBay’s only selling point.  The doppelgänger was reportedly part of a McDonald’s BTS meal, which was named after the Grammy-nominated K-pop group that collaborated on the deal.

The mysterious nugget came inside of a limited-time meal based on the wildly famous K-Pop group.

However, the BTS meal comes with a 10-piece chicken nugget, special sauces, medium fries, and a Coke.

According to the eBay seller, the chicken nugget will be frozen and air-sealed to ensure freshness.
