Babar fielded various questions, ranging from his career highlights to insights about AB de Villiers himself

Dallas: As the ICC T20 World Cup kicks off, former South African cricket team captain AB de Villiers has stepped in to defend Pakistani skipper Babar Azam against online ridicule targeting his English skills.
Prior to Pakistan's inaugural match in the tournament, AB de Villiers conducted a series of interviews with renowned cricketers on his YouTube channel including Babar Azam.
During the interview, Babar fielded various questions, ranging from his career highlights to insights about AB de Villiers himself.
However, a video posted on YouTube sparked controversy when an Indian user named Rithik Guroo left a mocking comment about Babar Azam's English proficiency, saying, “AB, it's difficult to control my laughter after hearing Babar Azam's English,”.
In a poignant response, AB de Villiers came to Babar's defense, emphasizing that Babar's command of English surpasses his own Urdu skills.
AB highlighted Babar's exceptional batting prowess, emphasizing its significance over language proficiency.
