Karachi: The Meteorological Department has predicted that the weather will remain hot and dry in most parts of the country today (Saturday).

According to the Department of Meteorology, the highest temperature in the country was recorded at 48 degrees Celsius yesterday, while the weather will remain hot and dry in most parts of the country today.

It has been stated by the Department of Meteorology that the temperature was recorded at 42 degrees Celsius in Dalbandin and Jiwani yesterday, while it was 39 in Karachi, Hyderabad and Bahawalpur, 36 in Lahore, 37 in Islamabad and Peshawar, 35 in Quetta, and 33 in Multan. Muzaffarabad recorded a maximum of 31 degrees Celsius and Gilgit a maximum of 29 degrees Celsius.

According to the Department of Meteorology, there is a possibility of rain in some areas of Punjab, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and in upper Sindh this evening or night.

On Friday, many areas of Sindh and Punjab, including Karachi, received rain, which broke the heat wave to some extent.

It is pertinent to note that Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz has indicated the possibility of raining clouds in the suburbs of Karachi today or tomorrow.

Sardar Sarfaraz has predicted more than normal rains in most cities of Sindh including Karachi this year.
