Ismail Haniyeh's funeral prayer was performed at Palestine Square in Tehran
Tehran: The funeral prayer of Ismail Haniyeh, the leader of Hamas, who was martyred in a missile attack, was performed in Tehran.
Ismail Haniyeh's funeral prayer was performed at Palestine Square in Tehran. Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei led the funeral prayer, and a large number of people from different schools of thought, including women, participated in the funeral prayer.
The funeral prayer of Hamas leader Haniyeh will also be performed tomorrow in Doha, the capital of Qatar. After the funeral prayer, he will be buried in Doha.
It is pertinent to note that Ismail Haniyeh's funeral prayers were performed in absentia yesterday in several countries including Pakistan. While many religious and political parties have announced to perform absentee funeral prayers at different places today (Thursday).
