Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) says three brave soldiers embraced martyrdom in Tirah valley

Peshawar: In a fierce exchange of fire between security forces and militants in the Tirah Valley, four insurgents were killed while three brave soldiers embraced martyrdom, according to a statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Friday.
The ISPR said that clashes took place at three different locations within the valley, with security forces launching effective operations that resulted in the elimination of four militants. Despite the success, the operation came at a heavy cost, with three soldiers laying down their lives in the line of duty.
The martyred soldiers have been identified as 37-year-old Havaldar Inam Gul from Mianwali District, 29-year-old Sepoy Muhammad Imran from Tank District, and 22-year-old Sepoy Muhammad Altaf Khan from Mardan District. Their sacrifice underscores the ongoing commitment of Pakistan’s security forces to maintain peace and stability in the region.
An ongoing clearance operation is being conducted to neutralize any remaining insurgent presence in the area. The ISPR reiterated the armed forces’ unwavering determination to eradicate terrorism, stating that the sacrifices of the nation’s soldiers only strengthen their resolve to protect the country.
