PTI leaders announce to challenge Supreme Court through a review petition, saying that today’s verdict is continuation of February 8

Islamabad: PTI Chairman expressed serious concerns over verdict of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, saying that their seats are being snatched away in the name of “recounting of votes”.
Barrister Gohar Khan said that the results were pending but they took oath before it.
“We demand the government to immediately issue notification for appointment of next Chief Justice of Pakistan,” said Barrister Gohar Khan, the PTI chairman, while addressing a press conference in Islamabad on Monday.
He said that the public was not being heard there in Bangladesh, and subsequently, the judges were forced to resign.
“All those who are working for the sake of extension should learn from Bangladesh,” he said while referring to the judges’ resignation on demands of the students.
The PTI chairman said that they would file a review petition in the Supreme Court against its verdict for three seats of the PML-N.
“This decision is against the spirt of justice,” said Gohar Khan.
He said that 39 MNAs were declared of the PTI by the Supreme Court’s verdict.
Shibli Faraz said that the public rejected all those who bagged Form 47. He said that the results were delayed soon after the elections. He also mentioned different delaying tactics and issues that became hurdle in the way of transparent process of legal matters as well as transition of power.
“Hurdles were created for us,” said Faraz, criticizing the incumbent government that they had claimed a ‘fake majority’.
They could not do what they wanted to do despite all that.
