For first time in political career: Punjab prisons minister walks out of Assembly
Punjab Prisons Minister Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chauhan Friday walked out of the Punjab Assembly session for the first time in his political career.

Talking to the media outside Punjab Assembly, the provincial minister said that for the first time in his political life he had walked out of the assembly session for the reason that the deputy speaker stopped him from speaking and did not pay attention to his point.
Explaining the reason for the walkout, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader said that PPP's Hassan Murtaza had wrongly criticized PTI and should apologise for such remarks.
He said that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) parliamentary leader called millions of people inferior and “when I stood up to respond, the deputy speaker stopped me and I walked out in remonstration,”
The provincial minister also said that it was unfortunate that the deputy speaker did not pay attention to his point.
He said that the statement of the Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) leader Sheikh Rohail Asghar, the other day was also reprehensible while abusing was not Punjab's culture.
Mr Chauhan further said that Special Assistant to Prime Minister, Ali Nawaz Awan showed high morale and apologized for what he did wrong in National Assembly.
He said that PML-N’s Sheikh Rohail Asghar has been showing haughtiness on what he did wrong.
Referring to PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz, the minister said that the people were insulted under the patronage of Begum Safdar and PML-N.
