Punjab Information Minister says Pakistan is a testament to the sacrifices made by our great leaders and ancestors

Lahore: Information Minister Punjab Azma Bokhari on Wednesday extended heartfelt congratulations to the entire Pakistani nation on the occasion of the 77th Independence Day.
Azma Bokhari emphasized that Pakistan is a testament to the sacrifices made by our great leaders and ancestors. She urged everyone to cherish their freedom and called upon parents to safeguard their children from discord and unrest.
"The youth must act as a strong, united front against these challenges," she remarked. "It's concerning that those whose own children are abroad are attempting to instill a sense of subservience in our nation’s youth."
In her Independence Day message, Azma Bokhari highlighted that freedom was not easily won; it came at the cost of countless sacrifices by our forefathers. Quaid-e-Azam and his companions made monumental efforts to establish a separate homeland for Muslims. August 14 serves as a reminder of their tireless struggle.
Minister Bokhari also noted that today's youth may not fully appreciate the value of freedom because they have always enjoyed it. She warned that elements of discord and unrest are seeking to derail Pakistan’s progress by fostering hatred and promoting violence among the youth.
She concluded by stating that those who genuinely wish to see Pakistan become the true realization of Quaid-e-Azam’s vision must value and protect their freedom. She affirmed that Quaid-e-Azam's mission aligns with Nawaz Sharif's vision, a mission now being advanced by Shehbaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz.
