Police have confirmed that three including two children have died and 13 people have been injured as a result of the blast


Pishin: An explosion occurred near the police line in Pishin district of Balochistan, in which three people were killed and 13 people including five policemen were injured.
According to the police, the explosion in Pishin took place in the market near the police line. The sound of the explosion was heard far and wide, while a vehicle standing nearby was destroyed by the explosion, and other vehicles were damaged.
The police have confirmed that two children have died and 12 people have been injured as a result of the blast.
The police stated that five cops were also among the injured in the explosion. Rescue teams reached the spot as soon as the explosion was reported and the injured have been shifted to the hospital for medical assistance.
According to the local police, the area has been cordoned off and the nature of the blast is being ascertained.
President Asif Ali Zardari condemned the blast, expressed sympathies with the bereaved families, and prayed for the early recovery of the injured victims.
