PM pays tribute to the police officer who was martyred during the attack, and expresses deep sorrow over the loss of a brave officer


Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday strongly condemned the terrorist attack on a police checkpoint in the Kurram district, which resulted in the martyrdom of a police officer and left several others injured.
In an official statement, the PM paid tribute to the police officer who was martyred during the attack, expressing deep sorrow over the loss of a brave officer.
“The sacrifices made by our police officers and personnel in the fight against terrorism are unparalleled,” the Prime Minister stated.
He further extended his heartfelt prayers for the martyred officer, seeking the elevation of his rank in the hereafter and offering prayers for patience and strength to the grieving family.
The PM also assured that the injured officer would receive the best possible medical care, issuing directives to ensure that no effort is spared in providing him with the required treatment.
Moreover, the PM also ordered a thorough investigation to identify the perpetrators responsible for the heinous attack and emphasized the need to bring them to justice swiftly.
He commended the unwavering dedication of the nation's police officers and personnel, saying that the entire country stands united in appreciation of their service and sacrifice.
“Their courage and commitment to protecting the nation deserve the highest praise,” said the PM.
