ISPR said that three terrorists were also injured in heavy firing in last night's operations


Rawalpindi: Security forces killed five terrorists while carrying out operations in different areas of Balochistan.
In a statement issued by the Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR) Department of the Pakistan Army, it was said that security forces killed five terrorists in Balochistan's Kech, Panjgur, and Zhob districts in Intelligence-Based Operations (IBO).
ISPR said that three terrorists were also injured in heavy firing in last night's operations.
The spokesman Pakistan Army said that these successful operations against terrorists were carried out in the background of terrorist incidents in Balochistan on August 26.
It is pertinent to note that on August 26, 50 people, including 14 officials, were killed in various terrorist incidents in Balochistan, while 21 terrorists were killed in the retaliatory action of the security forces.
On the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday, unidentified gunmen attacked Levies and police stations in Mastung, Kalat, Pasni, and Santsar, resulting in several deaths.
Blasts and grenade attacks were also reported in Sibi, Panjgur, Mastung, Turbat, Bela, and Quetta. The officials confirmed that attackers blew up the railway track connecting Pakistan and Iran near the bypass area of Mastung.
According to Kalat Superintendent of Police (SP) Dostin Dashti, 11 people, including security personnel, were killed and six injured in the overnight incidents in Kalat district.
