'Gang war': Lahore police register case in Javed Butt murder incident

Lahore: The Ichra police registered a case against Amir Fateh, Qaiser Butt and their unknown accomplices for killing Javed Butt, the brother-in-law of Khawaja Gulshan Ilyas alias Teefi Butt, who is the main accused in Ameer Balaj murder case.

Qaiser Butt claimed that he had nothing with the murder of Javed Butt.

Javed Butt and his wife were going in their vehicle when unknown assailants intercepted them near FC College Underpass and opened fire. The firing left Javed dead and his wife severely injured.

A post-mortem examination report revealed that Javed Butt died of five bullet wounds to his belly and chest. The suspects used a 30-bore weapon. 

Late Ameer Arif alias Tipu Trakanawala and Teefi Butt have been indulged in a gang war of Lahore's underworld for the last several years
