Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister and Senator Mohsin Naqvi Friday said that September 6, 1965 is an indelible day in the history of Pakistan.
In one of his messages on the occasion of Defense Day, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi paid tribute to the eternal sacrifices of the great martyrs of Pakistan.
The interior minister stated that on September 6, the brave armed forces of Pakistan fully defended the motherland. Pakistan Army gave an intense reply to the cowardly enemy who attacked in the dark of night. The soldiers of the Pakistan Army repulsed the enemy with unparalleled bravery.
Mohsin Naqvi said that the sacrifices of the martyrs and the courage and bravery of the soldiers are our identity and pride which will always be remembered. The soldiers of Pakistan proved by their eternal sacrifices that nations do not win wars with weapons but with faith and courage.
He further said that the nation salutes the brave soldiers who laid down their precious lives for the country's defense, they are our honour and pride. The entire nation expresses complete solidarity with the martyrs and their families.
Mohsin Naqvi also stated that this day reminds us of the bravery and determination of our soldiers.
