Karachi: A private TV anchor died in a traffic accident in Karachi.
According to police officials, a high-speed vehicle hit the footpath near Avari Hotel on Shaara-e-Faisal, killing a person in the vehicle.
Police officials said that the person who died in the accident was identified as Abdullah Hassan, who had worked as an anchor on several private TV channels and recently joined a YouTube channel.
According to the police, Abdullah was a resident of the Lines area. After legal proceedings, the body has been handed over to the heirs.
Sindh Governor Kamran Tesori, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, Senior Minister Sharjeel Memon and Local Government Minister Saeed Ghani expressed grief and sorrow over the death of anchor Abdullah Hassan in the accident.
