Authorities announced that Sunday, September 15, 2024, will be a public holiday


Abu Dhabi: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has declared a public holiday on Rabi'ul Awal 12 to celebrate the birth of the Prophet (PBUH).
According to Arab media, the Federal Authority of Human Resources of the UAE wrote in a social media post that the federal government had issued a circular for the holiday of Rabi Al-Awal 12.
The Ministry of Human Resources and the Emirates announced that Sunday, September 15, 2024, will be a public holiday for the employees of the private sector, including government institutions, in commemoration of the birthday of the Prophet (PBUH).
The decision is in line with the UAE Cabinet's resolution regarding public holidays for the public and private sectors for 2024.
In the statement of the Ministry, congratulations and good wishes have been expressed to the citizens of the United Arab Emirates.
It is pertinent to note that the next public holiday in the UAE will be on December 2 and 3 in connection with National Day.
