He criticized the government for creating hurdles in PTI’s rally

Islamabad: Awam Pakistan Party (AAP) Chairman Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Wednesday called for urgent constitutional reforms, expressing concern over the current government's actions.
Speaking to a press conference in Islamabad, former Prime Minister criticized the government for what he described as a troubling approach to public gatherings and constitutional freedoms.
Abbasi questioned the government's decision to close off areas of Islamabad despite allowing public rallies, suggesting that this undermines democratic principles.
“Existing laws already regulate public gatherings and that the constitution supports the right of citizens to assemble peacefully,” he emphasized.
Addressing recent comments by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, Abbasi criticized the use of inappropriate language during public events, calling for more respectful discourse.
Abbasi stressed the urgency of finding solutions to the country’s problems and improving the overall situation.
