General Bajwa meets Turkish Defense minister, praises Pak-Turk efforts for regional peace
Ankara: Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa met with Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar and top generals during his one-day visit on Wednesday, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

The both sides discussed matters of mutual interests, regional security and Afghan peace process.
Accoridng to the militray's media wing, General Bajwa praised the joint efforts of Pakistan and Turkey for maintaining regional peace and security.
"Turkey is an important Muslim state in the region. The joint cooperation of ours will create longlasting impact on maintaining peace in the region."
The Turkish Defense Minister and top military command were all praise for Pakistan's role in peace e and stability of the region and its reconcilatory role in Afghanistan.
Turkey’s Commander General Staff General Yasar Guler and Commander of Land Forces General Umit Dundar attended the meeting.
The Army chief was presnted guard of honour upon on arrival in Turkey.
