COAS invites businessmen to work with SIFC
Achievements would not have been possible without the support of the business community
Karachi: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir invited the business community to work together with Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).
Army Chief General Asim Munir met businessmen during his visit to Karachi during which important issues related to the economy were discussed.
He said that the problems of Karachi's business community will be solved on a priority basis. ‘A year ago, I said that do not despair as it is a sin. Never give up hope about the prosperity of Pakistan. The unsuccessful attempts to create despair in the society were defeated by collective efforts.
COAS stated that Pakistan has extraordinary ability in various fields. In view of its immense resources and capacity, Pakistan wants to get its rightful place in the world.
General Asim Munir added that the control of smuggling on the western border had positive effects on the economy. The role of brotherly friendly countries like China, Saudi Arabia and the UAE in the economic recovery of Pakistan is commendable. While Google and other international companies are investing in Pakistan, these achievements would not have been possible without the support of the business community.
He further said that everyone should have unwavering faith in the bright future of Pakistan. The army is committed to act against illegal activities.
Meanwhile, the Army Chief invited the business community to work together with SIFC.
