Both were eliminated in IBO in Sher Shah


Karachi: Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on Saturday night claimed to have taken out two terrorists who were involved in the murder of CTD officer Ali Raza,
According to CTD in charge Raja Umer Khattab, CTD personnel on intelligence-based information conducted an operation in Sher Shah and eliminated two terrorists of a banned outfit.
The CTD in charge said when the police of Counter Terrorism Department reached their hideouts, the militants opened fire on law enforcers.
Our policemen engaged the terrorists effectively and killed them, Raja Umer Khattab said.
Talking to the media, CTD DIG Asif Ejaz Sheikh said the terrorists were involved in 35 cases of terrorism, adding they had killed CTD officer Ali Raza in Karachi.
A target list, explosives, sophisticated weapons and a suicide jacket were seized from the dead outlaws, the DIG said, adding more arrests had been made in this connection.
The eliminated outlaws were identified as Usman and Hafiz Rasheed. Further investigation was underway.
