17 KP rescue vehicles, 6 ambulances, 7 fire tenders, 3 water tenders and a crane have been taken into custody


Islamabad: The machinery of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, rescue vehicles and personnel used during the protest by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Islamabad was taken into custody by the Islamabad Police.
Islamabad Police spokesperson said that Islamabad was raided by machinery and personnel brought from KP, they will be presented in court as evidence in the cases.
According to the spokesperson, the Islamabad Police also took into custody government machinery, rescue vehicles, and staff members brought by Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur to remove obstacles and help the workers during the PTI protest.
It is also reported that 17 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa rescue vehicles, six ambulances, seven fire tenders, three water tenders and a crane have been taken into custody. These rescue vehicles and machinery were brought from Mardan, Charsadda, Peshawar, Bajaur, Dir, Swat and Swabi.
According to media reports, 64 rescue personnel from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 24 police personnel and eight personnel from TMA Peshawar have also been arrested from Islamabad during the protest.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Rescue Director General Dr Ayaz said that their team of lawyers is present in Islamabad to recover the machinery and personnel, trying to bring them back.
He stated that if there is an emergency in the province, severe problems may be faced due to the non-availability of machinery and staff.
On the other hand, the spokesperson of Islamabad Police added that the machinery and personnel from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa attacked Islamabad, and legal action is being taken in this regard.
The police spokesperson said that the machinery is included in the cases, and it will be presented as evidence in court.
