Security forces kill nine Khawarijis in Bajaur
Operation was carried out on the night of October 23 and 24
Bajaur: Security forces carried out an operation on a tip-off and killed nine Khawarjis including two suicide bombers in Bajaur district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of the Pakistan Army, the security forces conducted an operation based on a tip-off in Bajaur, where the forces had received information about the presence of Khawarjis the previous day.
The operation was carried out on the night of October 23 and 24 on the report of the presence of Khawarij, in which nine were killed in a fierce exchange of fire.
According to ISPR, during the operation, two suicide bombers along with a high-value target Kharji ring leader Syed Muhammad alias Qureshi Ustad were sent to hell.
In this regard, it was further informed that a huge number of arms, ammunition, and explosives have been recovered from the possession of the dead Khawarij.
According to ISPR, Khawarij were involved in several terrorist attacks against security forces and innocent civilians.
The ISPR statement also said that a clearance operation is underway to eliminate any more Khawarijis found in the area, and the Pakistan Army and security forces are determined to eradicate terrorism from the country.
