PTI lawyers to meet Imran Khan in jail today
Faisal Chaudhry Advocate confirmed the jail meeting with the PTI founder at 3 o'clock
Islamabad: Instead of presenting Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan in court, it has been decided to allow the lawyers to meet him in jail.
According to sources, three lawyers of PTI's legal team will meet Imran Khan today at 3 o'clock.
Sources said that the order to bring the PTI founder to the court was to meet lawyers, therefore, it was decided that the lawyers should meet the PTI founder in the jail itself.
Sources added that the parties have been informed about the meeting.
Imran Khan's lawyer Faisal Chaudhry Advocate confirmed the jail meeting with the PTI founder at 3 o'clock.
Advocate Faisal Chaudhry stated that Salman Akram Raja, Shoaib Shaheen and he had been called for a jail meeting at 3 o'clock.
It is pertinent to note that the IHC had ordered the founder chairman of PTI to appear in court at 3:00pm in the contempt of court case related to Imran Khan's meeting.
The court had ordered the superintendent of Adiala Jail that if Imran Khan was not presented in the court, then he would have to explain the reason.
