Lahore: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari met Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Lahore in which the political situation of the country was discussed.
On this occasion, Shehbaz Sharif said that the credit of the approval of the 26th constitutional amendment goes to all the coalition parties. They have neither backed down from public service before and nor will back down now.
He stated that due to the positive economic indicators of the country, there is a clear decline in inflation.
In this regard, Bilawal said that they will work together to strengthen democracy and parliament. The 26th constitutional amendment will be effective in blocking the way of undemocratic powers.
On the other hand, it is also reported that both the leaders agreed in the meeting that the 27th amendment would also be brought.
The media reports suggested that concerns regarding the rights of the provinces will be addressed in the 27th amendment and Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman, MQM, and other political parties will also be taken into confidence on this amendment.
