Islamabad: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government is all set to get the annual budget for the year 2021-22 passed by National Assembly (NA) today, with a total outlay of over Rs8 trillion and increasing pay and pensions by 10%.

According to details, the federal government has completed all the preparations for the approval of the budget 2021-22.
The Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin will present amendments in the bill that will be presented in the NA.
This year's supplementary grants will be also be approved today.
Earlier, during the budget session, all opposition's austerity motions have been rejected. While, Prime Minister Imran Khan adjourned the meeting of the Federal Cabinet and directed the members of the Assembly and Ministers to ensure their participation in the meeting.
The government side would complete discussion on cut-motion on ministries and the Finance Bill 2021-22 will be presented for the voice of vote for its formal approval by the lower house of the Parliament.
