PCB chairman says the entire team and management deserved commendation


Lahore: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman, Mohsin Naqvi, on Sunday congratulated the national cricket team for their historic victory over Australia on their home ground.
Mohsin Naqvi applauded the players for defeating a strong team like Australia on their own turf, saying the victory has made the nation proud.
In his message, he expressed that the entire team and management deserved commendation for their outstanding performance across all departments of the game.
Naqvi highlighted that Pakistan’s fielding, bowling, and batting were top-notch, with players outclassing the Australians.
He noted that the 8-wicket victory was a result of excellent teamwork, with Naseem Shah, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Haris Rauf particularly shining with the ball, restricting Australia to a low total.
He further praised openers Saim Ayub and Abdullah Shafique for their responsible batting, while also acknowledging the contributions of Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan.
Naqvi concluded by expressing confidence that with determination, hard work, and resolve, the team will continue to achieve success in all future endeavors.
