In a serious lapse on the part of health officials, a 28-year old woman in Maharashtra's Thane has been allegedly given three jabs of a coronavirus vaccine in a span of 15 minutes.

Reportedly, the alleged incident took place on Friday at a vaccination center in Thane. The woman stated that as she was given the first dose. After receiving the jab nobody asked woman to move, and within 15 minutes, two more doses were administered to her.
The woman went to Aanand Nagar vaccination centre along with her husband to take the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
However, the Thane Municipal Corporation denied the allegations.
After the reports surfaced, the corporation has initiated a probe in the matter.
For the time being, the woman is in good condition. While, the Thane woman had a fever in the night, but it subsided the next morning.
"We found out that she has no problems. Her blood pressure and pulse rate were also normal. We even questioned the nurses at the vaccination centre and have formed a committee for an enquiry," said an official.
