57 years ago, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto resigned from the cabinet of military ruler and formed PPP

Lahore: The 57th anniversary of the establishment of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has been completed. The party is celebrating its foundation day with enthusiasm on Saturday. Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will address the ceremony.
57 years ago, Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto resigned from the cabinet of the military ruler and formed the PPP with progressives.
Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto made the PPP the largest political party in the entire country by using the slogan of ‘Roti, Kapra, Makan’. He became the elected Prime Minister of the country, gave the constitution, and then was hanged at the hands of General Zia-ul-Haq.
After her father, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto took over the command of the party, fought against General Zia, became Prime Minister twice, fought bravely against General Musharraf, and then was martyred at the hands of terrorists.
Currently, the party is led by Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. He restored democracy in the country and has now formed a coalition government with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N). His father, Asif Ali Zardari, is currently the President of the country.
