Draw of pilgrims under govt Hajj scheme will be on Dec 6

Islamabad: Tuesday is the last day to submit Hajj applications under the government scheme, while more than 54,000 applications have been received from across the country so far.
A quota of 89,605 pilgrims has been allocated for the Hajj scheme, while overseas Pakistanis can also ensure their participation in the scheme by sending sponsorship.
According to a spokesperson for the Ministry of Religious Affairs, it is hoped that the regular quota will be completed today. Due to the recovery of expenses in installments under the regular Hajj scheme, more applications have been received than in the past.
Immediately after the applications are completed, the schedule of Hajj flights will be finalized and accommodation will be obtained in Madinah according to the flight schedule. Procurement of accommodation, food, transport, and schools in Saudi Arabia will be completed.
The draw of the pilgrims under the government Hajj scheme will be held on December 6.
