Maryam Nawaz described Turkey as great friend and brother of Pakistan


Lahore: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz met with Turkish Consul General Durmesh Bastag.
During the meeting, steps were discussed to promote cooperation in the sectors of trade, education, health, agriculture, and tourism. The two leaders agreed to further strengthen bilateral relations between Pakistan and Turkey.
Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz described Turkey as a great friend and brother of Pakistan and said that the people of Turkey have always supported Pakistan in difficult times, and they are grateful.
Maryam Nawaz further said that the Punjab government will provide all possible facilities to Turkish investors, and the one-window operation for the Turkish business community will be made more active.
Turkish Consul General Durmesh Bastag appreciated the public welfare projects underway under the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and said that Turkey attaches great importance to relations with Pakistan and is ready to further expand cooperation with Punjab in various sectors.
