Canadian FM said that Trump's statement is expression of his lack of understanding of Canada's real strength


Ottawa: Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau strongly responded to US President-elect Donald Trump, saying that Canada will not be integrated into the US until the end of time.
US President Donald Trump had said that he would use economic force against Canada to make it the 51st state of the US.
Trump stated that he would impose a 25 percent tariff on goods imported from Canada.
Canadian Foreign Minister Melanie Joly said that Trump's statement is an expression of his lack of understanding of Canada's real strength and that Canada will never bow to threats.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has given a strong response to Trump, saying that Canada will not be integrated into the US until the end of time.
In addition, the Conservative opposition leader also said that Canada is a great sovereign country and will never become the 51st state of the US.
It is pertinent to note that Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has announced his resignation.
On January 6, Justin Trudeau said he would step down after the ruling Liberal Party selected a new leader.
