ATC granted bail against bonds of Rs5,000


Islamabad: The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Islamabad granted bail to 153 Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers arrested in the D-Chowk protest case while rejecting 24 others.
ATC Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain pronounced the verdict on the post-arrest bail applications of 177 PTI workers arrested in the D-Chowk case.
While pronouncing the verdict, the court granted bail to 153 PTI workers while rejecting the bail of 24 workers.
The ATC granted bail against bonds of Rs5,000.
The court granted bail to 43 out of 48 accused of Karachi Company Police Station while rejecting five others, and two out of seven accused of Tarnol Police Station while rejecting five others.
Bail was granted to nine out of 10 accused in the I-9 Police Station, one was rejected. In Case No. 1033 of Police Station Kohsar, bail was granted to 28 accused and five applications were rejected.
Bail was granted to three out of the eight accused in Ramna Police Station and applications of five were rejected. Bail was granted to all 25 accused in the Secretariat Police Station. Bail was granted to 42 out of 45 accused in Margalla Police Station and bail was not granted to three accused. Bail was granted to one accused in Case No. 1032 of Kohsar Police Station.
