Bunkers of both warring tribes were to be demolished in Bushehra, Balashkhel, and Khar Kali yesterday


Peshawar: Despite the clear instructions of the district administration, the demolition of bunkers in Kurram could not be started.
According to media reports, the demolition of bunkers has been delayed due to resistance from local tribes and a lack of assurance from the administration.
It is pertinent to note that bunkers of both warring tribes were to be demolished in Bushehra, Balashkhel, and Khar Kali yesterday.
On the other hand, due to the sit-in in Mandori and the lack of road clearance, the second convoy of essential goods could not leave for Parachinar, resulting in a severe shortage of gas, petroleum products, and food items in Parachinar.
It is also reported that more than 80 trucks loaded with goods are waiting for the road to be cleared for departure to Parachinar at Tal.
