Iranian media say that a man opened fire outside the Supreme Court, killing two judges.
According to Iranian media, the judges killed in the shooting include Ali Razini and Mohammad Mughisi. Both judges were hearing cases related to national security, espionage, and terrorism.
According to Iranian media, the shooting incident took place near the Supreme Court in the busy Tehran Square area, in which one judge was also injured, while the attacker shot himself.
Iranian media say that Judge Ali Razini was also attacked in 1998, in which a bomb was planted in his car and he was injured in the attack.
