Batteries have also been arranged for backup

Islamabad: Federal government educational institutions have been shifted to solar systems.
The Federal Directorate of Education in collaboration with the National Radio and Telecommunication Corporation has successfully completed the solarization of 100 schools.
Along with solar systems, batteries have also been arranged for backup in educational institutions.
Federal Secretary for Education, Mohiuddin Wani says that this remarkable achievement reflects our dedication to excellence, sustainability, and innovative solutions.
The installation of solar panels will not only reduce the carbon footprint but will also provide a reliable and eco-friendly source of energy for our schools, he stated.
Mohiuddin Wani added that these institutions have been shifted to solar systems in the current financial year and plans will be made to shift the remaining educational institutions to solar systems in the next financial year.
