Covid-19 third wave: Pakistan reports lowest daily death toll in three months
Islamabad: Pakistan has reported lowest number of Covid-19 deaths in three months.
According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), around 1,347 cases of coronavirus were reported while 19 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 22,427.
The total number of confirmed cases reached to 963,660.
As many as 907,934 patients have recovered from the disease with 1,894 critical cases.
Punjab
The number of patients swelled to 346,852 in the province with 10,776 causalities.
Sindh
The number of infections has surged to 340,902 in the province, while the death toll has reached 5,520.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The confirmed cases have surged to 138,533 in the province with 4,340 casualties.
Balochistan
There are 27,419 confirmed cases while 312 patients have died from the infection so far.
AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan
There are 20,558 coronavirus cases in the AJK while the death toll has reached 588. On the other hand, there are 6,427 cases in GB with 111 coronavirus deaths.
Islamabad
There are 82,969 cases in the capital city while 780 people have lost their lives.
