Lahore: A woman allegedly committed suicide by jumping from the second floor of Ganga Ram Hospital in Lahore.
According to the hospital administration, the woman who allegedly committed suicide by jumping from the second floor of the hospital was identified as Saima. According to the employee card found with the woman, she worked at the Bank of Punjab.
The hospital administration claims that the woman was neither admitted to the hospital nor was she an attendant of any patient, but was mentally ill and committed suicide by jumping from the window.
According to the administration, the woman had separated from her husband, was a resident of Walton, and had a 12-year-old son. Her heirs have also confirmed that she committed suicide and was mentally ill.
The hospital administration says that according to the heirs, Saima had attempted suicide before. When the woman came to Ganga Ram Hospital, her son was also with her.
